Risk is everywhere. It reflects the complexity of our world and the limits of our knowledge. Before the fact it's ephemeral but afterwards only too real. Real enough to bring destroy civilizations, nations, economies, most sadly, households and individuals. What can be done about risk? What can't be done? Can we tell the difference?
